Still the inland roads out to Granada, the surrounding Sierra Nevadas and Ronda a bit further south are brilliant in anything, and almost empty at this time of year.

I concur. I've been to Costa del Sol a few times myself, unfortunately not on a bike.

The road through the mountains to Ronda is amazing on a weekend. I recall driving the family in a hired Focus and being passed by an endless stream of sportsbikes scraping their knees through the bends as they disappeared into the distance. Jealous? Moi? - Too right.

I was going to hire a bike last time I was there but its hard to justify to she who must be obeyed when something like a Transalp costs more to hire for a day than a Focus for a week.

I'd take the Falco but I'd need at least ten days to make it worthwhile and I can't spare the time at the moment.

Still, something to think about for the future.

He has his head screwed on by getting the insurance that saved his life. They would have let him suffer or even die if there was no health insurance. He is still a tosser though. Born to slide

i find it amusing that his own countrymen are ignoring him....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Not all of them ... some have been having a go at him too

.... oh, and I seem to have opened up another front in his possible parts for sale thread.

Born-to-Ride .... Born-to-Slide .... Born-to-be-a-complete-tosser .....

Nice one Aladin :smt003

Just goes to prove that old adage, "Never argue with an idiot, they just bring you down to their level & beat you with experience."

If i were to say the same about americans I would expect to be banned as it is both rude and unforgiveable

Thank you for bringing that post to my attention. He is currently on my radar due to his posting. The post in question was from Dec 3 and he is currently in "time out" for a comment made in another thread. He has been made aware that his pointless attacks will not be tolerated. Once he returns he will be banned immediately if he steps out of line in the slightest. In the meantime I edited the offensive remark out of his for sale thread.
