Cadwell track day

It is looking very much like the 18th May. Here is a link to the site. There wont be a group booking so you will have to pay the £99. It is explained on the thread

I've gone for inters - as its my first trackday on the Falco. Pierre if your comfortable at Croft in the inters then I think you will be fine at Cadwell. It is narrower in sections than most circuits but not as complex as many people make out IMHO.
There is an advantage in running in the novice group in that you will probably find yourself at the front of the pack with a clear track but if you are carving your way through some slow novice riders it can be diffiuclt and off putting for them. You will probably be asked to move up anyway. I used to find that novice riders will tramp on down the straights but are not confident enough to carry any speed into the corners and thats a problem if your following.
Its a great circuit and I am sure we'll have a great day. Nearest petrol is about 1 mile down the road but this is Lincolnshire and they only take cash - no cards !

Bah, we'll have no go-between to relay messages of abuse to the 675 lot. Probably end up at opposite end of the pits giving hard stares now
I just booked croft with no-limits for the week before to make sure it actually runs and I still dont have a trailer. Dont do today what you can put off till tommorow.

Done it, the missus and myself are in with the novice lot, it's only our third track day so we don't want to get ideas above our stations. Also it's less embaracing to start low and get moved up than to start high and get moved down

105db noise limit now as well and you do get tested, best bring some baffles along just in case.
