Nah - Bigun's is a nice bike but I don't think there's a lot on there that I haven't already got.

My modding priorities now are to solve the bellypan riddle and then source an immaculate set of Ohlins forks for about 35p.
Of course I've still got to solve the rough running thing too :smt017

After that (well probably before the forks) I'll turn my attention to my 400/4.

You're probably going to get more for the parts than the whole, there seem to be really cheap Falco's around, but parting out can be a PITA and the money comes in dribs and drabs that make it so much easier to disappear on nappies.

Prolly easiest setting back to std to flog and flogg the add ons to the vultures.

Good luck.

'Course you could always hide one in Pierre's garage and keep two!

I'm only putting the feelers out but if I get the right price then yes, it will be going. Nice thing is, I like it soooo much, I won't be dissapointed to keep it. Its just a RSV-R has that little bit more and now we've had a baby, I'm not keen on having the missus on board (risk and all that). Having full on sports bike might keep her off! (Don't tell her that though).

Size wise, if anything, the RSV is a bit better as its a little taller so suits me. I get on with pretty much anything tho (if you can cope with an early Kwack 636, you can cope with anything), its just my right ankle that gives me grief after a while but thats an old rugby injury that I can't strap up and get my boots on at the same time!

On the bits front I've also got a double bubble screen and the legendary powder coated red wheels (although I'd need to do a swap for standard ones).

Will keep you all posted. Actually, clear rear lense - £3000. I'll chuck the bike in fer nowt!

:smt003

PS I would advertise it here but you've all got one.
What have we all got; The bike or the lens? :smt017

I hope your not just changing in the hope you'll tuck in behind the fairing :smt002

If thats the case - I have a spare georgian style wooden front door to bolt on the front you can have for free. Headlight will shine though letterbox :smt003

Could be an omen, though I don't think it's an R

Thanks Falcopops. Looks a nice bike that.

Update I think - I stuck it on ebay twice but didn't get a bid. 16 watchers each time and loads of questions on mods. I'm not going to let it go for no money though and as I say, if it didn't sell, I'd keep it.

As it is, since the birth of our baby earlier this year and the shocking weather this country has, I'm seriously thinking of selling up for a couple of years. Doesn't help that I've spent the last weekend test driving a couple of late model BMW M3's and now have a serious addiction to 345bhp of near supercar (just have to find the right one now). I suspect my bike might get used even less. So, in a total quandry, do I sell up completely and find an RSVR when I decide I need a bike again or do I keep the Falco so I have a bike for those days when I can?

I'm so torn as I can't imagine life without a bike (especially one as good as the Falco) but quite amused at the position I'm in. Most mates my age have got to get rid completely and drive a people carrier!

I can relate to the people carrier thing.

I justify keeping the bike by not having a second car, but it depends if you need to use it every day. You could have your commuter bike and a play thing tucked away. With kids though the time and money to go out to play are rare commodities.

Good luck
