Clearly a cunning ploy to keep the number of votes for the standard Falco swingarm artificially low.
Unlike the RSVR swingarm which is, of course, artificially high...
I was being paid by DR to rig the Poll. He hasnt paid so I have adjusted the settings..
Actually I lied.. He did pay. I just adjusted it anyway..
Ok.. truth... ARS was set up by usergroup, we removed that, I didnt readjust the poll settings for that particular forum.
Sorted now. Vote away.
Check the Poll wording though. DR is subliminally guiding your vote choice...

Re: Which Swingarm suits the Falco best?
Well I've ridden both and even though I don't own one now (I get to borrow one from time to time :) ) IMO there's not a lot of difference as to quality. I prefer the Mille swinger to the Falco one for the simple reason it hikes the seat up higher.D-Rider wrote:The Falco and Mille share a lot of parts.
Aprilia chose to fit a cheaper swinger to the Falco. Does this suit the Falco better or is the Mille arm the swinger it should always have been given?
I seriously doubt that if it came to a track day and they both had nice suspension anyone could tell the difference in ability, its a vanity thing!
Oh and I haven't voted its biased, like our politicians
LOL - you don't know me well enough if you think I'd prise my wallet open for something like thisKwackerz wrote:[

..... subliminally guiding .... choice ....
TBH after I'd phrased them and the poll was running I realised I could have done a much better job of this ..... just wait till the next one .... maybe I'll start one on exhausts .....

So I'm right as well

I'll leave to poll running but as things stand, 83% of those that have voted expressed no support for Aprilia's decision to fit that budget swingarm.
.... but who needs votes when Pierre has summed it up so beautifully
Of those that expressed an opinion for a particular swingarm, 62% support the view that the original Mille/Tuono one is the preferred choice

Lies, damn lies and statistics... or however that quote goes.D-Rider wrote:I'll leave to poll running but as things stand, 83% of those that have voted expressed no support for Aprilia's decision to fit that budget swingarm.
That's a pretty slanted view of the figures. Another would be 50% of voters expressed no interest in the banana beam thingie.
And I'm guessing that as with most elections most people with no real strong view don't bother voting.

He's been completely unable to separate the wheel from the swinger to renovate the bits that need renovating and the project stalled (maybe a couple of years ago)
Pity, I reckon that'd be spot on

How could it be damn lies the wording of the poll was very clear, (and just possibly a little biased), would you like to vote for –
I love the Falco Swingarm - it's budget design suits the bike, (strong hint, makes it look like a budget bike).
The Mille Swingarm is a thing of beauty whose lines flow better with the Falco's frame, (now doesn't that sound a bit better if you put it that way).
Do you compose opinion pole questions for those toe rags down at Westminster in your spare time Andy?
If not you’ve missed your vocation!
Anyway enough of that, as I've said all along, I do still like Mille swingers as well.
