Service is a joke, a colleague of mine bought a 1 owner RSV mille with 20k and a full service history from a well established dealer in Bicster the previous owner said he never touched it himself as new nothing about engines and didn't want to.
The plugs had never been changed on the front cylinder and were covered in crud the oil filter was leaking and the front pads were missing a locking pin. The front bolts were missing from the fuel tank and the engine oil sump drain bolt was stripped!
DIY is the only way for me guys.

And for me. I would never trust anyone servicing my bike unless I was standing right behind him. The Rotax is dead easy to do a minor service on, even though I have never done any service on anything apart from bicycles. Already looking forward to a major one! :)

Totally agree, to tight and untrust worthy to give my servicing to a dealer.

Howard,
Give Kawasaki Autorama a try at Batley, Tim is an excellent mechanic there and he''ll do you a good job at a reasonable price.

They are an official Aprilia dealer and he knows his stuff. Tell him I sent you (lol)

I've spent 50% of my life riding motorcycles, the rest I've wasted!
