My beautiful black Falco questionable , no way.
probably talking about those dodgy Yeller ones.

But I wholeheartedly agree. Now metallic brown.. there's a questionable colour scheme :smt002

The brown is the one everyone else calls bronze

I have the SL carbon cans chip and evo airfilter mod. Normaly I get 100 - 120 miles until the light comes on. First run after the service and that went up to 155 miles and not only that, it was smoother and felt much quicker too. I've only had that sort of mileage once before, guiding my daughter back from picking up a new car and how shall we say .. a very different level of performance was being used.

I probably neeed to run a few more tankfulls through but my first impressions was of a very big gain. :smt007
That's remarkable. I can't believe it has anything to do with the plugs but what else is there ?

Well I did clean the air filter, re made the air box seal under the tank and re seated the intake hozes where they go through the frame. Fresh oil and oil filter. Aslo sprayed a lot of the levers and springs contoling the fuel injjection with wd40. All stuff I've done several times befor and sure it always seems to appreciate the fresh oil but nothing like this.

Just done 110miles today on the second tank and apart from it still feeling strong and smooth I cant realy say about the mileage. I intend doing the 160 mile round trip to work tomorrow on it so should have a better idea then.

My petrol light always comes on at 120 miles but then i've never tried riding it gently to see if i can get any more miles and avoid motorways like the plague :smt003

Pretty much 105 miles to the light, every time, when on my normal commute (mainly a-road, but a short hop on a couple of motorways). Guess I need a new air filter & plugs, rather than resting my right wrist :smt003

That 110 miles meant I could only put in just over 10 liters to brim it.

The run to work saw the light start to flicker on at 145 miles and after 157 miles the tank took 15 liters.

I have good reason for not giving my general crusing speed but 6ish with 16/44 is a prettty good indication ......

I'm using the same level of performance, maybe a bit more as it is going so well, as I've always done and I've definitely got a fuel economy improvement in the order of 15 - 20% from some where.

So I'm pretty pleased with it.

167 miles when the fuel light came on is my record on a long run with mostly constant throttle, but i'm generally getting between 120-140 between lights.
Still not had a chance to get a custom map for my PC3 as every time i go to the Motor Cycle Centre they're still awaiting the new dyno!
