I have no feelings about Jade one way or the other. I do think it is unfair to slate her for being able to get enough people in the world to make her a millionairess [is she is worth the 8mill quoted].
From what I've seen on the media there is a serious amount of editing going on at Ch4. I'm also amused that when Jade in her usual fashion couldn't remember Shilpas suraname and said "Poppadom" or whatever it was "racist" however when Shilpa said of Dirk Benedicts name it sounded like a duck dish or something it wasn't deemed even mildly offensive?

Haven't watched it at all but I was told that somebody called someone else "White trash" - thought that was racist myself till I remembered if you're white, heterosexual, working, tax paying you don't count anyway!

The excerpts I saw looked like perfectly typical chav behaviour even down to the eye bulging shouting and screaming aggression, Eastender / Coronation street style. I didnt think the words used were offensive at all - calling an Indian Poppadom is only the same as referring to a Frenchman as a Froggie, or a German as a Kraut. It implies no racial superiority / inferiority issues at all.
I think the program ought to be withdrawn but for aggression, rudeness and a lack of any culture whatsoever - nothing to do with racism which I didnt see present anyway.
