Hi FP,

You must have had the inspector on a bad day. I've never had them look at the chain. On the good side, they are getting you new tyres.

Hey, at least the bike's in your hands now. That's got to be a step forward.

That reminds me - I have to pick up that yellow-spring shock from you ASAP.
It's the V-twin thing. There's just something about it that inline-4s don't have at all, and V-4s don't have enough of.

Hi Guys, had Pickfords move by bike over to Austria. In their sales brochures they guaranteed the bike would be crated up for shipment. When it arrived in Austria it was wrapped in a blanket and strapped to the side of the truck!! Not best pleased, closer inspection showed scratches on the fairing and fuel tank so a claim form is winging its way to blightly.

Probably serves me right for not riding it here but I was a bit busy at the time.

All I can say is bunch of muppets.

*note to self*

Never use Pickfords to move a motorbike

They used to be a good family firm, since the 17th century. I remember it well. :smt002
They sold out to a conglomerate about 5 years ago and since then the name has been disgraced.
