Anyway pics are what are needed :smt001

Nearly back together now. headers went back without a scratch (I'm please to say)

Howard, I was going to try the wire brush, but bottled out (nowt new there then?) seriously though they look pretty tough but it's weird finish compared with chrome. Time will tell. Your not the first to mention the T9 issue, but I'm happy with F9 and I'll probably get another Falco in the fullness of time so no point in changing.

Will post some pics when done

Finally got the bike back together today with my newly cored silencers, wheels and coated headers. As the weather in the north of England was superb for a change a quick shake run down was in order.

The cans are LOUD but not offensive (well imho they aren't) and seem to work well. There seems to be plenty of power, lifting the wheel in 3rd (as before) so I don't think I've ruined anything (so far!)

Overall I'm very pleased, I prefer the look of the black sleeves and although the base of the cans need a polish to match the headers it looks almost standard in appearance (but as always it's a matter of opinion)

and the view from behind, with the cored cans

Sorry I needed the sunglasses. :smt001
Even if it will need cleaning a lot.
Have to agree with Oka on the cans though!

Yup, 69mm perf pipe straight through from where the CAT's sat, I got some LeoVince re-packing kits from M&P and fitted them (what a pain in the ar*e) after much re-cutting and fiddling around.

The sound is quite deep and reasonable at tick over but gets tremendous at higher revs and I haven't been near the redline yet

ear plugs are now a must
