That is a sad sight and looks like a right off to me and a good basis for a track day special....

Ok, Gio's got 1st refusal but it hasn't been written off yet and if I get another Falco I may need it

And Firestarter wants a UK headlight.
Any other request for bits that might have fallen off and be lying on the side of the road

Ok, here's the deal. I'm gonna take some bits off today. Belly Pan, Seat Hump, Headlight, Tailtidy, LED Indies. U know, blingy stuff.
But I'll hang on to it till I've sorted myself another bike. I've spotted another Falco, Bronze of course (it's the fastest colour) and no point getting rid of stuff I may need. But if I don't need then I know who asked for wot first. Sorry if the delay is a problem

Wooops, haven't checked the forum for a few days and here you go... Sorry to hear all that, hope you're in better state than your Bronze friend.

It will be written off - my best guess. Even if it's repairable, cost would kill the deal.

No problem, I've been watching on fleabay the last few weeks and its not as if its a hole where it was (looks shite with a seat there tho)

Sorry to hear about your off mate. I had my first off in 42 years last December, did not do too much damage to myself but still have problems with my right shoulder, so hope you are OK.
As for the bike, I did much less damage than you, miy were almost all plastics plus the offside can, footpeg and rear brake lever.
I also fully costed everything via the Aprilia Yorkshire site and it was absolutely scary, why do Aprilia panels cost more than any other bike?

I got lucky and managed to get everything I needed, without buying much from Aprilia, (mostly off Ebay), other than the rear brake pedal and it only (???) cost me a grand, (The whole thing that is, not the rear brake pedal, Aprilia spares aren't quite that expensive).
Good luck with it either way. It may well be best to buy the bike back off the insurance as scrap, make what you can for the bits and keep what you can re-use. Well there's always the rear light!
