Well, polishing is guaranteed to be a waste of time

but coating is only guaranteed to be a waste of money

true, but with a twenty week old son, and and axe wielding homicidal maniac, sorry wife inside, then hours spent fruitlessly polishing an exhaust part in my shed appears very tempting.....
