Staintune, et al all list for the 00 - 03 Falco, no variation between pre and post 2002 models.

Thing is, my bike was first registerd in 2002 anyway so there's a better than fair chance even if there is a difference then they're still the ones i want.

Still not happy about shiny exhausts but you can't really complain for 160 beer tokens.

Ahem, in english this time. A beer token must surely be a token from which a pint of the aformentioned ale could be purchased. Hence the price of the motorcycle exhaust is approximately 69 beer 'tokens' thus making it look an even better bargain.

must remember to turn pc off before going to pub

a pint of fosters was £2.40
a pint of smooth was £2.30
a pint of wifebeater was £2.50

therefore, the exhaust was not 160 beer tokens, but more like 69.6 beer tokens if one token equals one beer

all perfectly obvious just so long as you drink enough..;....

Cans arrived today, fitted this afternoon and already tested.

Look great (apart from the shininess but I can live with it), sound amazing and don't know if it's just me but I can't tell the difference with baffles in or out - just sounds very bassy and VERY LOUD :smt003

Another happy punter!,

FYI:- The db killers that came with my LeoVinces are about as much use as a chocolate fireguard as well, all that sound will never be killed off by a reduction in the outlet size.

Just looking at Pierre's photos of the inside of the std cans was a shock to the system, the gasses go through a maze of chambers before exiting

It's surprising just how much of a difference can be made by reducing the size of the exit - most of the latest 4 stroke motocross bikes are doing exactly that to conform to noise restrictions that are drastically tightened every year.

These ones don't do that though, they've got a conical thing that fits at the bottom of the can with a perforated plate in the bottom of it which means that the entire outlet from the link pipe is reduced by probably about 1/2 to 2/3 in actual area so how that doesn't make it quieter I'll never know.

The only way that I can see that these cans got approved is by just using the same basic can for every bike and changing the link pipe, then getting it tested on a low performance in line 4 because I can't see these passing an MOT on the Falco even with the baffles.

Morning gents, I won a set of these pipes off ebay over the weekend for £115 delivered. I should have them by Friday fingers crossed.

Glad to hear they fit the post 2002 bikes as mines a 2003.

Thanks,

Phill
