Yeah - I've been searching "4 cylinder 2-stroke 1970s" for a while ... all to no avail.

Perhaps I should add "folding front end" to the search criteria .....

Ah - its an Ossa Byra 1000

Surprisingly, it's from Spain (yes Gio - Kwackerz told me that!)

Used in the 1972 Barcelona 24hr race - made from two 488cc OSSA Yankee twins.

Nice one Kwackerz :smt023

I found that bike originally about 4 years ago, Jorge had an OSSA dirtbike in at Rene to get an exhaust made up. I had a search on the Net for OSSA and found that

Reckon if they'd produced that properly, they wouldve been onto a winner. Shame.

:smt004 A fine idea, Pete!

I quite like the idea. I used to find I learnt lots from them. Someone'd put up an interesting looking bike and you'd either pick up l;oads of interesting stuff along the way on a search for it, or come the end when it was found, there was usually some interesting history behind it!

Yes I know the pic is big, it's meant to be so you can appreciate the craftsmanship that's been applied to the Bike. :smt019
