EFI falult help please!!!

I have a EFI issue and didn't feel like starting a new thread.

It is relatively minor, but every now and then when I first start the bike, EFI flashes three times and goes away. No, this is not just when I turn the key to "on", but when I actually start the bike. Usually it goes straight to cold, but once every few days I get three EFI's, then the usual "cold."

The bike runs fine though, and it seems to have no effect. Although I must say that if the bike is turned off and started again when hot, the engine seems to run smoother afterwards. Very strange, and the only thing I could think is that one of the plugs isn't firing correctly. Both pistons are firing, but the rough feeling seems like it might just be one of the plugs. Any ideas?

You could connect the diagnostic plug and see if their are any error codes robertorolfo but most likely just a loose or damp connector check the ecu plugs etc. You may find this info usefully. http://www.apriliaforum.com/techtips/10 ... tcodes.htm

Ps, also check your battery health it may be a little flat
