Think you will find they are restricted to 50kph which gets round some of the laws (same as quads?)

Mine sadly seems to have been deristricted from new and exceeds 90kph

Just make sure you have a chunk of wood to slip under the accelerator to restrict it

I doubt that'd go far on a beach
