The difference between a rotti and a pit bull is that one is legal........ the other isn't.

I was trying to remember when the ban came into force. I still had Duke at the time so it had to be late 80's. All banned breeds had to be neutered which means there shouldn't still be any Pit Bulls in this country. There could still be a few diluted cross breeds around but the dilution should be quite high now. But having just seen the news and the pics of the captured dogs, those look like close on pure Pit Bulls. They also had treadmills for the dogs to exercise on........

Anyhow, what's done is done, it is just a shame that it gives the anti-dog lobby more ammo. to ban breeds like rottis and GSDs.

Kwackerz, there is a really good rotti rescue in West Yorkshire, I took Solo, a gorgeous stray rotti we had in for euthanasia, to them a few years ago. If you ever want to get a rescue rotti, then they are a brilliant place to go.
