The fish and chips are better in Blackpool :smt005
Seriously, Im watching a pair on eblag, I'll buy them for the £50 mark cos they are well nice but £100 is a bit OTT for grips
Edit,
Had another look and could not resist... silver ones bought.
Yes they are an extravagance but it was the last pair and I can always sell one of the children when money runs out just before payday

I don't know from new fangled grips but when we were kiddies my mate had sundance chrome grips on his scrot. He also had the side panels off to show off all his chrome engine cover bits; and the armoured shower cable from the coil to the plug cap.

Every time it rained his handlebars became live, following him was a joy.

On the odd occasion I've needed rubber grips I've always gone with the cheap and cheerful Ariete ones.

Nope, just really dodgy Italian stuff. Which is odd as they're normally really good with electrics.

I had a 50cc scrott when I was 16. It had 6 volt magdyno electrics, high and low beam, stop and tail and that was your lot. If you slowed down the lights went out - it was a joy.

When I got a proper bike - a GS250 - I never had to worry about electrics again...

Congrats on the new grips.

Careful, you'll be moving to the shiny side; some on here won't like that. As for me, shiny is good (but you have to pay for it - just spent the best part of 3 days polishing the Cali, 'cos I've been a lazy arse & not cleaned it properly for ages)

I've heard that two very friendly types working together can polish a rim and a shaft at the same time.

We have a long and illustrious history in these matters. We invented knockers and I spend a good part of my working life polishing things.

And, IIRC, Wednesbury was the birthplace of butt- welded pipe. Make of that what you will.

And it had a Patent Shaft.
