Brief update

He is in the Sheffield itc unit I believe

He has regained consciousness

He cannot speak atm - jaw broken in 4 places and wired

He also currently has a tracheostomy - fairly routine with extensive injuries btw

He has used a message board to write that he is a twat for the accident and said sorry

He has also told davina and his girls that he will not fly again

Same here but having done a bit of hang-gliding many years ago (tandem). Hope he recovers quickly.

A big thanks to all. I am on the mend and am doing well. Not been here for a while as I have neglected riding due to the hangie. I would love to still fly and maybe one day I will again but I have promised my wife and family that it ends now.
You could have an accident anywhere and I was in a way luckily unlucky. It could have been worse if I crashed 2 foot further on.

I have been home for just over a week and doing well. I also hope to be back at work by the end of the month.

On another note my Falco and Davina's Ducati are both fully legal and ready for a blast as I was busy up until the accident. We hope to get a couple of runs in before the end of the season.
