All ride reports from the horses mouth so to speak well done chaps
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Well the ride was good apart from a few issues with one of the bikes.

920 miles covered over the course of the four days and for a good charity.

I am glad to say that all that set off made it with no injury.

We decided o ride back from jog yesterday?

I personally covered 552 miles in 13 and a half hours riding?

The only broken bit is the nut that was riding the bike.

I will post some pictures up later on of the awesome time we had. And the great weather.

Here you go.....

We arrived in the Dark at the campsite....

Image

We made it to the start point ok

Image

We had our first problem after only five miles....A puncture :smt009

Image

We did 275 miles on the first day and had a great stop off point.

Next morning we had a few photo's and then on our way

Image

We stayed at our next stop in Kirkby stevens.

Breakfast and the first fuel stop at Appleby

Image

Breakfast is served :smt003

Image

We had a problem with one of the bikes which plagued us all the way......Another stop... :smt012

Image

Image

And another just outside gretna :smt011

Image

But we made it to Scotland :smt002

Image

We then rode upto glencoe from the green welly shop.

This was the best part for me. No wind. Little cloud and glorious sunshine.

Image

Great roads..... :smt001

Image

Good company...

More great scenery...

Image

I was almost tempted to climb up and see what was in the cave? :smt018

Image

We made it to the next stop in glencoe. :smt004

Image

Breakfast scenery....

Image

Image

We set off through fort William looking really cool.

Image

And made it to inverness and found this spot?

Inverness town centre

And we pushed to the end

Image

And the next day we rode all the way home!!!!!!

Fuel stops every 75 miles first one just after dawn

The last photo I took.

A great experience to which I would do again but change the route slightly and take more time.

Thanks to Martdude for setting the camping at Doms place. And thankyou to all who donated. The trip................. Awsome!

Fantastic photos, Jay. You seemed to have been blessed by the weather when going through the most photogenic bits. What's the tank range on a C90?

The weather was brilliant Graham.

The range on a standard tank is anything up to 100 miles?

Because fuel stations were fewer in Scotland, the lads without the additional tanks were doing around 75 miles between stops

The twin tank arrangement allowed me to fill up every 200 miles or so.
