hmmmmm.....

will ask the wife.....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

I was going to say looks like it'll be pissing down this weekend.
But it isn't this weekend.
I'll shut up now.

Nero, any suggestions for somewhere to go to for a ride from the Ponda?

That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Ok how about this.

Meet @ the Ponda 10:30

Breakfast & brew

Head north and turn left at the crossroads take the A5104 then A5 to Cerrigydrudion onto the B4501 upto Denbigh. Onto the A525 and over to Ruthin. Pit stop at the Doof cafe. The owners are bikers and it's a great if little known place.

From the Doof.
On the A525 back over the horseshoe pass. Over to Ruabon get on the A539 to Overton then back onto the A525 to Whitchurch. Have a brew at the Raven. There will probably be plenty of other bikes there to look at aswell.

Disperse home or if anyone fancies going a bit further. It's not a bad ride to the Quatt @ bridgenorth via Shrewsbury.

From the Ponda to the Raven on that route is about 100 miles so make sure you've got enough fuel especially as I'll get us lost at least once :smt002.

Thoughts / suggestions ?

Sounds like a plan indeed. The cafe at quatt is probably on my way back home from those parts anyway. We stopped there on the rideout a couple of Marche's meets back.

Don't spose you know if there's a petrol station near the Ponda?

There's a texaco in Llangollen. Or there's a couple in Ruthin or there's another (BP) right next door to the Raven in Whitchurch.

Cheers Geoff. :smt023 I got a text from him earlier to say he wouldn't make it as he's got a buyer for the magpie coming to collect.

Are you coming or not?

Very similar to what they do on Tuesdays .... Wednesdays ..... Thursdays ..... Fridays.

Now that's all sorted for you, stop making excuses
