First night in Dolgellau then on to Wells in Somerset for 3 days. Then back North through Monmout, Buillth Wells and an overnight stop at Ironbridge before heading home through Derbyshire.

Can't beat those Beowulfs - have the oval s/s black ones with the later dark frame with Hot Red / Diablo Black colour scheme originally meant for USA & Oz markets - believed only one of 8 left in the UK.

They are fantastic. I almost put a stubby 'wolf on my cbr but decided to sell it instead. They're great cans. Probably the deciding factor in me buying this particular Falco.

I love your colour scheme, really suits the bike and looks fantastic.

Yup, looks like we're doing Buxton on the 20th. How about the 3rd to give folk time to recover/build up favours with the other half?

Isn't the 3rd only the day after this?

Not sure how many will be able to make it over to the swamplands but probably not a great idea to add a competing event so close.

BTW this thread started in the right forum but should really have popped over to the "rideouts and events" forum by now .... I'm in 2 minds whether to leave it, move it or split it and move the later part .........

Being a noobie I don't want to tread on anyones toes or owt but I do know from previous experience no matter what date is chosen it won't suit everybody.

However it's not far from me and I do love the roads so can make it almost any time. If anybody has a suggestion of a more suitable date...

Nah don't worry - we don't get offended on here and there's not a chance of everyone remembering all rumoured tentative plans.

These 2 events are on opposite sides of the country but didn't want anyone to go for a new event if they were planning on the other one but hadn't twigged that they sort of clash.

Bugger, thought that was the end of the month, want to go so I'll check who's off at work when I get in tomorrow, might end up having to work the Saturday to catch up if we're a man down.

How about a couple of weeks after that for the Ponderosa then? Say the 17th August?

We'll riding through Wales on 3rd August arriving in Wells on 4th. Spending 4 nights in Wells before heading North on Friday and home on Saturday.
Staying with Family in Wells but may be able to get a pass in order to meet important Falco peeps. Jules will understand. :smt002
