Did you check all the terminals? There are two on the relay and one on the starter. Also do the earth terminals to the frame. If you had a loose terminal on the battery it will have gone black or a darker than normal colour.....Clean it........While you are at it take them all off and clean them with some wet and dry paper then put some white petroleum jelly on the terminals, if you haven't got any vicks will do.
