I didn't mean the road was boring, just the riding - it was sports bikes riding a twisty, probably great if you were the one doing it, just not particularly interesting to watch and certainly nothing like the way it was hyped on the cover!

After spending a month driving around the south island of New Zealand I can say that IMO they will be hard pressed to beat as some of the best biking roads in the world. If not then they will be in the top 5. I am talking about endless miles of twisty's, hairpin's all on undulating smooth roads . It would have been heaven if I was on a bike.
