Well I have found the rear brake

No sight as yet of the mirror - will look in the morning in my reserve garage

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Bummer dude, I hope you feel better soon, another valid reason why horses should be kept to being ridden in a park. Dog owners have to clean up behind them so, so should horse riders. They should face fines too!! Nothing stopping them looking behind frequently and if the horse has shit all over the road they should be made to dismount and clear it off the road. And your expected to slow down and be careful around them, which I do, do. Horse shit on the road gets me annoyed. Where I live I travell 3 miles of single track road before I reach the main road and in the summer the amount of horse riders around here are unreal, you can nearly hardly avoid the crap on the road. :smt012

Amazing that you can be fined for leaving a dog turd but it is acceptable to leave a hazardous mountian of horse shit in the road.

Zoidberg, cheers for the linky thing, have only bought pre made fork sliders from Jaybee, 3 times more material than any others, fraction of the price, one offs is a service they offer.
I like em, good stuff at non R and G prices !

OOPS, thanks for the linky thing D-Rider !

Just read your post Greg! Bit late! lol
I had a day in the shed yesterday taking off what I can and thankfully (with the more able-bodied help of my Brother) managed to salvage the rear brake pedal and footrest bracket (the foot peg itself is a bit bent though)!
So, @Alad: I no longer require the brake pedal mate. Thanks though!
Unfortunately found that the rear brake light switch has been sheared off so I'll have to source one as soon as poss. Anyone know where they are actually in stock? Dont want to wait weeks to get one.
Also, I need the internals for the bar end on the right clip on (or the entire clip on if anyone has one as it is a tad bent): The bar had snapped off at the internal locating pin hole. :smt013
So, I still need a rear brake light switch, right hand clip on or bar-end and internals and a right hand mirror.
Anyone know where I can get em or have one I could have?
I've spotted a mirror on Ebay for about £20 but its a pattern part so not sure on it matching the left very well and I'd rather give somebody on here the money (especially if its for a good nick OE mirror).
Ditto for the RH clip on. Theres ONE on Ebay but they're wanting almost £40 for it! :smt017
Also, I found this on Ebay:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271320953930? ... 1438.l2649
I am right in thinking that is actually a rear brake light switch? :smt017
Anyhoo. Thanks again guys for the help and support. Means a lot! :smt006

Certainly looks like one.
Trouble is, I had a bent brake lever and it refused to reliably work the switch despite my best bodgings. Griff does a hydraulic one that he sells with his rearsets. Replacing the whole shebang with some shiny rearsets is an option when you have some cash.

I've got a right hand mirror if you want one. Changed mine for some pattern long stem ones which weren't that expensive and actually allow you to see behind you.

Thanks for confirming what I suspected about the switch on Ebay! Just bought it (saves me £15!).

I'll deffo have that RH mirror off you mate. PM me a price and your email and I'll get paid through PayPal if that suits you?

Anyone have a RH clip on or the bar-end internal tube?
Again, PM me with details if you do! :smt006

On a plus note: Stopped procrastinating enough to attempt to fire her up this afternoon (first time since the crash) and she started first time, cleared her throat a bit and then purred like the oversized kitten she is! :smt005

Thanks (again) guys!

Small update: After getting clearance from the Missus (!) I've bought what I need of the bar-end internals from AJ Suttons, only to find some of what I need are 'special order'...
Guess I wont be getting her back on the road just yet!... :smt009

Another update: AJ Sutton are saying the locating pin has been discontinued and they are no longer able to get them and the rest of the order (damping rod and o-ring) will take up to a month to get here so I cancelled the order! :smt013
So, I'm STILL looking for a RH clip-on, as well as a RH mirror (hopefully randomsquid is sorting that for me)... :smt010
Oh and the Doc has said I have spinal whiplash, (as well as a sprained wrist and strained groin) though he doesn't think there's any permanent damage.
Happy days! :smt006
