With regards postage of those ebay ones in dollars, if you have to pay import duty and don't pay it up front, them you get the privilege of paying royal mail an extra £8 in handling costs.

Plus the factory racing ones look the daddy. When I got mine, I bid on a colour that was getting less attention and then asked them to swap the colour (which they did :) )

Think it will be the Motorpikey, UK made, spares and any warranty issue easier than yank stuff, now just grabbing a cheap one at the right time, a month's wages dont last a month any more
