A quick bit from moi.

Food will be basic fayre but I promise won't be based on British Army Rat Packs.. :smt002 Mainly cos I cant get hold of any..

If anyone has any specific dietary needs then please pipe up and let me know, else it will probably be Bacon, egg, mushroom and bean breakfasts, Maybe even fresh croissants if I can persuade the missus to get up..

Lunch will be either a hot or cold option, ham salad sandwiches, cheese roll and the like.. if it becomes inclement weather we can do hot food.

and then something more substantial for evening meal, Chili Con Carne, Stew.. steaks, BBQ.. or something of that nature. Nobody will starve. The option is there locally for Fish and Chips on the not too far away seafront, etc. Cockles, Mussels alive alive-o
I reckon a tenner a day will cover it per person. any extra will go into the RS coffers.

Site Donations.. as said the barn has been given to us at a non commercial rate of 'a suitable donation for it's upkeep' - I would suggest a fiver a day per person. I know it isnt cheap to rent it and we get it at a hugely reduced rate as my Dad did so much work on it and other properties of theirs.

The owners are very pleased to support the event and I know Robert is very pleased we mark the memory of the old boy's passing in such a way.

There will be an obligatory bottle of Jack Daniels to be shared,. courtesy of Sam's missus, my mother.

Having got the OK from the new employer for the time off, I'll be there. Travelling down Friday, staying until Monday. As I may not be there before dusk -please remember to put the RS pointy sign at the turn off the lane.

If anyone is travelling down from the westernmost parts of the West Midlands, via Northampton, Friday afternoon, I'd be glad of the company.

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

I can't make it this year unfortunately. Wife's got tickets for a gig on Friday and youngest son is moving flat on Sat/Sun so my help is promised there.

Hope the weather is kind - raise a glass to Sam for me.

Another nudge for the Norfolk Meet.

Any preferences on food.. Vegans, Vegitarians?

(..I can cook both just Vegans arent as moist so you have to wrap them in tinfoil and use a lower heat..)

I will be out and about mostly tomorrow and thursday but will look in on this thread

Any late comers?

Last orders puuurleeease..

difficult to confirm tim

as I said on the phone...... I need to fire a gp surgery, and then complete the paperwork that may well lead to GMC involvement... I also have safeguarding coming in on a daily basis and that's just the easy stuff...

this is possibly my hardest management challenge yet....

Don't worry Pete, we'll all come round and help you sort things out. I'm sure if we all chip in, we'll get it done by lunchtime .... though some of it might not be done in the most orthodox manner.

after a 5 hour strategy meeting today where we all agreed the lead gp is a lazy, money grabbing cunt... I will lead the ride out....

I might be tempted to ride up on the cafe racer If I can borrow a tent when I'm there or crash in the barn?

Failing that it'll probably be on the Falco.
