Mate of mine called me earlier. "Dude, what're you doing next Thursday night?".. Now, when this friend calls me up and asks such questions, a gig is usually on the cards.

"Well, we're going to see Motorhead at the NIA"

Sweet! Anyone else going? (If not, have got limited quantity of tickets for £20ea)

Nice one Will.

I don't like the NIA - too big - lacks the intimacy of smaller venues like Wolves Civic. Saw Motorhead at the NIA several years ago, sandwiched between Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, and Alice Cooper. It didn't work, for me. No real atmosphere.

Know what you mean mate. Saw Deep Purple there last year, but half the arena was closed off. All seated too.. Which was naff. Doubt it'll be all seated for this gig.. If it is, it won't be for long. :smt003
