So, assuming D-Rider doesn't want to sell the Renegade (please let me know if you do and I will bite your hand off), the options are either MWR or Griff Evo.

I want induction noise and improvement of the flat spot. Hopefully a call to Griff tomorrow when the shops open again will result in the placement of an order, one way or the other.

Can't find a Hooked or Renegade on Ebay, or anywhere else for that matter, despite looking for ages.

oh yes.. the induction roar of a rene air kit is addictive.....

and i must confess my trousers getting quite tight when i appreciate the full on renegade chip, airkit and modded exhaust system fitted....

and not just cos I is a fattie either before the admins etc pile in with the insults!

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Oddly enough, I can't hear any induction noise. Unless it's a combination of earplugs and the SL cans drowning it out?

(Either that or I have no idea what to listen for....)
It's the V-twin thing. There's just something about it that inline-4s don't have at all, and V-4s don't have enough of.

I was tempted by this filter a while back when my DT1 ripped, but it was way to expensive and appears to restrict the air more than the DT1, which didn't have the plate across the top.

They claim that it smooths the airflow, which is good, but then goes on to state that you don't need to bugger about with the fueling, which leads me to think that perhaps it's not as good as it claims.

Picked up a Renegade system that deffo sounds the dogs, cracking the throttle wide makes all sorts of smiley noises

Thanks D-R, that confused me as well :smt017
Just waiting for the filter to turn up as well as the PCIII
I emailed Gabro and he said my V4 chip should be ok and that I only need to increase the fuel during mid-range.
Does that mean I can just put a standard map on and alter the mid-range or do I put on a map that is for non standard cans and air filter.
Has anyone got a custom map similar to what I am doing :smt001

Hmmm - depends how much you want to bite my arm off ....

The Renegade is not new but it is in excellent condition. I've never got round to fitting it but was planning to do so in the coming weeks.

Not looking to get rid of it but I could possibly be persuaded to part with it for one of those MWR High Efficiency jobbies.

Not saying for sure I'd do the "swap" but there's a good chance ..... and I feel it's a bit of a high price to ask to prize it from me - but then I'm not looking to get rid of it.
