Must admit I'm not familiar with that particular motor but if the bonnet release safety catch works, do you really need a lock as well ?
If some oxygen thief is going to mess with your car,a locked bonnet will re direct them to your windows

Can't imagine why a thief would want to get under the bonnet unless he needs a part - opportunistic thieves won't even try, and professional thieves will know they can't open the bonnet ( or will know they can do it the way it was done).

to remove the alarm / immobiliser BG....
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

As I said, professional thieves know all the ways to get into cars - they tend to specialise in particular makes!

Unfortunately there are a lot of opportunist thieves out there that will cause a lot of damage and end up with no gain.
