Splitter!
Welcome back
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Hahaha, some good come out of this then.
How you find the r1 in comparison?

Thank you.
Nearly five years since I was last here. Have I missed anything?
Exchanged a few texts with Gary (Cathcart). Established he doesn't have my bike. Mine was bought from Taz in Peterborough, so had AE04 registration; also mine had 17500 on the clock when it went in 2008 but his has only 14500 now.
Pleasant surprise to be asked though.

The R1 was incredibly brilliant until it developed problems. I'll save that long story for another time. I've had an S1000RR for three years now.

They're supposed to be great bikes - how are you finding it?

Fantastic. Occasionally mind-blowing (...or underwear-filling). More reliable than an R1.

I appreciate the responses Nigel. Didn't actually expect to get one.
1000rr is meant to be the top spot for a supersport no? Look really really good but think I'd crash it.
