You'll be alright, most bikes are sprung for a rider plus half a pillion anyway in order to get a shock that can cope with all situations, but isn't perfect for either

In my experience RSV shocks are well 'over-sprung'; i.e. too bloody stiff. If you're a (ahem) 'substantial' chap then it will probably be perfect for you... :smt003

And the blue spring shock really is shite. Honestly. No kidding. No shit, Sherlock.

I found the yellow spring shock and linkages raised the back slightly even with the ride height adjustment wound off. With that and pulling the forks up one ring the steering is fine.

If you intend to use the standard Sachs (yellow) spring you'll need the matching RSV Mille triangles and dogbone, as well.

If you're prepared to swap the (blue) spring from the standard shock onto the RSV sachs shock you might be able to use the standard Falco triangles and dogbone, but it will be a case of suck it and see.

Can anyone recommend a spring to suit my bike?

didnt think my missus was interested in coming out with me ,but lately she's been showing a bit more enthusiasm for the odd blast out!

for 67 quid !

bargain

may I suggest that you get it serviced and refurbed - and get the spring changed to one that matches your needs....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
