That's exactly as I understand it Andy, the Tech3 budget in Moto2 was minimal last year with little, if any work, since the previous year.
It does seem now that Scott looks a better rider, but the deal was done earlier as you say, so let's see how Brad gets on over the season, he's a good kid and works very hard in all areas.

It's so difficult with young riders and the type of kit they get.
When I went to Estoril in April 2008 to see our ex neighbour JT in his first MotoGP season, Danny Webb was absolutely brilliant in 125 and even had the local commentator raving about him, but his bikes have got worse ever since, because he cannot bring much money to the team, and he has had no chance on the Mahindra, but he always rides his socks off.

just watched free practice and if that's anything to go by it'll mainly be between rossi/lorenzo for the title as i think pedrosa will bottle it when the pressure is really on and marquez will crash too often for a title this year but definately win more than a couple of races. But didnt dovie do well, bet he feels a bit better about the ducati now, the pics in mcn earlier in the year were priceless.
OOPS....There goes another pillion!!

that was fun then .... :smt004 nice to see Rossi proper racing again...

but I do like the club racing I eat pie style of Crutchlow seems to be an honesty to it plus with all those dark colours its like seeing a slimmer Alad on a working bike but going quick
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

I really enjoyed watching the GP, that was a rush of adrenaline.
Rossi you are the man... Congratulations to Pedrosa a brilliant ride but I fear he won't win the title now Rossi is back on the M1

And Marques is going to be worth watching - as long as he doesn't get over-enthusiastic and bin it!

If I had to bet money on it, I think it would be on Lorenzo, because Rossi will ultimately be pushing him, and he will go quicker.
Pedrosa could do well, but Marquez will push him too hard and upset him.

Crutchlow?
I have my fingers crossed for him, but he will get more podiums for certain.
That went sort of as expected.
Great race, enjoyed it, even though Lorenzo did bugger off, Rossi, Marques and Cal were all on the pace.
Danny was nearly on the pace but, he probably held up the second group for a while. Then Marquez nicked his teddy before he could throw it.
Everybody except Danny seemed to enjoy the battle as well, especially Rossi, now he knows he still has the speed.
Let's see how it goes in America can't wait.

Ruddy Hondas in the way all over the track..

So pleased for Vale, he so needed that. Didnt steal Lorenzo's thunder, just quietly snuck up behind him, tapped him on the shoulder..

'Sorry mate, traffic was terrible.. so.. what've I missed?'

Brilliant brilliant racing tonight. Marques was superb. Hope he can maintain the pace, He was good to watch.

Was anyone else screaming at the TV for Bradl to get to fek and let Rossi past? It was painful to watch him acting like a handbrake

I sat up all night and watched it (only had an hours sleep) but I'm damn glad I did.

Lorenzo is too cool for school, smooth and consistently fast, picked up right where he left off last year.

Pedrosa, Crutchlow, Bradl, Marquez all impressive.

But Rossi, I was pleasantly surprised at how well he did, I thought it might take him a race or two to get back in the swing.

Impressive passing, hard but fair and then reeling in the pack to take second was feckin awesome.

Not sure if he's going to be good enough to threaten Lorenzo, but I think he'll give it a go.

That was probably the best MotoGP race I've seen in the last two years. It was everything I was secretly hoping for but too scared to mention in case I jinxed it!

Rossi was back to his old self, and my didn't he prove it.

Marquez was very impressive, we knew he would be but he didn't make any silly mistakes that you might have expected from a rookie, not bad for his first GP ride I'd say. Watching him is like watching Stoner, it's quite eery.

For Pedrosa I fear the saying, always the bridesmaid.... may well be the case for him.

I felt a little sorry for Lorenzo up there on the podium, he looked a little awkward as he knows where everyone's attention is, his team mate. Yet he cleared off and left everyone for dust and no one was that bothered! It will be interesting to see if the rivalry starts up again as the season progresses and Rossi takes all the limelight.

Hahaha, brilliant statement! :smt005

I have to eat my hat on this one, rossi done a hell of alot better than I thought. What could he have done with a better qualifying position? Although, rossi and qualifying have never been a great spectacle. He is much better in the race...

If, I'll repeat it, IF Rossi hadn't mucked up at turn 1, I don't think Lorenzo would have won, but then what a good result anyway, felt sorry for Cal tho, Yamaha should be giving them the same parts as the factory team, it might have been a Yamaha 1-2-3, I like Marquez, he's everything Pedrosa isn't, entertaining, big smile all the time and I think he likes a joke.

Only 2 other riders I'll mention "Bin it" Bradl, what a whinger and Spies, he needs to go home, what a miserable fellow he is.

Can't wait to see the new track next, should separate the men from the boys :smt003
