Well that'll be that then. Maybe I thought the ecu had something to do with the averaging, thanks though.

IIRC the spedo changes every 2 seconds, but that seems a bit long to be right.

I was thinking that you could stick a few magnets to the tops of some uber sexy titanium bolts, but of course they won't stick to Ti :smt012

I put a race dash on a mates trumpet and had to epoxy and gaffer tape for good measure a magnet to his front wheel and the sensor to his fork leg to make it work (the generic bracketry was shit and wouldn't fit anywhere).

So I reckon magnets would work, but I don't know if the induced current from their field would be too much for the sensor/circuitry. Probably not since we must be talking very small numbers.

This is right up D-Riders alley, do chime in old boy.

Does anyone else want some of these while I'm ordering? (standard aprilia jobbies). The carriage cost is £7 which is crazy for a couple of screws so I could buy a batch and we could share the shipping cost between us.
