I don't really know the hat story... Someone nabbed it at a meet and it's been getting sent around?

I'll have a good read at the guide before I crack in with the bleeding.

I'm curious about my gear indicator, the speedo wire, which one of the wires from the actual sensor should I get the correct feed from? I'd rather straight from there so I get less lag for it to tell me the gear.

.... or buy a Tuono sprocket cover :smt002 (Mille ones are the same as Tuono ones but cost more).

These save you having to cut the Falco cover and show off the slave cylinder nicely

Tuono one new is about 20 quid including delivery

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

If your feeling flush there is tuono carbon sprocket covers for £40 on the bay.

I'll be getting a standard tuono cover though I think, the wife'll go nuts if I keep spending. Especially because I use her PayPal LOL :smt005

I pay her back mind you, but it keeps control of my spends lol she actually wants me to set up my own account but .........I don't trust myself lol

if I had my own PayPal account ...

I'd go spending crazy :smt003

Think you're probably recalling the Mille part pricing - Tuono is cheaper than that

Yorkshire Aprilia price it at £7.70 inc VAT .... delivery would have to be going some for it to cost you £20

I found that ones, but its crazy some people are selling used tuono covers on eBay dearer than a brand new one.

There has been a price drop then

I know I paid about 17 quid for one last year to fit the motopike part - from aprilia Yorkshire

Iirc it was 11 quid plus vat and delivery but still not expensive

Ordered a tuono cover and the spacers to go with it from aprilia Yorkshire, I'm not sure if I need the spacers but for £2.40 its not worth not ordering and then finding I need them. Anyway inc p+p £17.80....not bad. Cheaper than I expected it would've been for an aprilia part.

So why are there two distinct types? Small plain ones and bigger ones with lines on. And what sort have I got in my shed in case I buy a clutch slave in my old age?
Where ever I lay my hat.....

What are you on about?

Different styles of sprocket hats?

My clutch slave arrived today, I must say I think it looks really well finished. Looks better than I expected. Still waiting on the cover.
I've been seeing that some add an extra nipple up at the lever for better bleeding. How do you bleed the line with two nipples involved?
Do you,
1) fit extra nipple at top and open it.
2) using a syringe, push the fluid up from the slave using its nipple then close and forget then
3) close upper nipple once fluid Is comming out then
4) just bleed the master cylinder as normal at the upper nipple

Or am I so far of the mark, I sound rediculous lol
