Tis is true i was close to the bush on the first session,
But on the last one i had to go round a black mobile checaine with what looked like a bike with the biggest chicken strips i had ever seen

Tolerance will be our undoing.

He has to be careful to preserve them or Colonel Sanders will withdraw the KFC sponsorship

lord yes - I did remember getting over taken by a two tone falco - silver and brown....
I also noticed that the riders leathers were brown stained every time we went towards gerrards...
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Nowt wrong with getting lapped. it happens to the best of them at times. Anyhoo i thought originally you lot were just circulating for a gentle hoon round the track rather than making like Nori Haga?

Anyway children, back to ahem TYRES
The best prices Ive found are around £155 for Roadsmarts or Maxxis Tourers
Ive heard good things about both, Maxxis being the new kid on the block may be worth a go, so I think thats what I'll be buying on payday
( prices for pr inc delivery, not fitted as a tyre changing machine and fitter would add considerable weight and cost )
Cleverly disguised as an adult !

Is that price each tyre ? I paid 260 fitted for a pair of Roadsmarts 2 if that helps
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

one answer per tyre geoff??
i had a set of the maxis tourers fitted - I found they were on a par with the original conti road attacks - I was impressed enough that i will consider the maxis diamond backs later in the year

No love for Contis? I put Road Attacks on mine when I first bought the bike from reading stuff on here and have never felt the need to try anything else. I run rings round most of the guys I go out on rides with and they've actually told me that I must have so much confidence in the tyres to be carrying that much speed in the corners.
I just shrug my shoulders really because they just work. I've never spun up a rear and only once had a slight loss of front end grip doing some mad braking going into a hairpin on the Stelvio.
I think the chap above is right who says there's unlikely to be such a thing as a bad tyre these days, as long as you go for a decent brand.
