Yeah - I'm sure my license covered them anyway - mind you I'm not sure whether I ever went on the road with oneBikerGran wrote:Tractor? You did a tractor test? I just used to drive 'em, never passed a test!

Kwackerz definitely wins the cool award so far with his machinery!
yeah I did with the car! I did my test while at Army Apprentices' College. Big load of us did the driving course n test and the boss of the company employed to teach us had to bring his car to get all the blokes thru in the time allocated. me and the biffest lad went in with the Boss. As Sam had taught me to drive I needed sod all time driving and spent most of the time sat in the back while Tommo did his kangaroo impressions, ditch jumping and kerb hopping. think out of the week I got 2 hours driving in total.

Bike was a fekkin horrid horrid thing. Looked cool kitted up tho'

Full Bus was a Army Bus/Hospital wagon thing (the square plaxton bodied things) in Osnabruck, Germany. test in Munster, Germany in fekkin rush hour.

Car test was 1964/5 ish in my dad's bright orange 1906 Mini van (see Sam's thread). I later bought the Mini van off him.
Bike test was 63/64 on a 500 Velocette combo, a side car chassis with a large wooden box on the side half full with bricks!
It looked a lot like a coffin!
The Velocette was a bit unusual as it had an Avon Sports fairing, pretty rare then.
Alot like this, but without the white bits and nowhere near as nice -

Passed and went straight home and took the sidecar off, bit more fun after that, even without bricks.
Actually the bricks were self produced when I took left hand bends a bit too quick with the sidecar wheel a foot or so in the air.
NOT FUN.
