Right, I'll be quick.
Thank you all for your help and advice over the last couple of weeks and I apologise for switching my allegiance to bikes that are nothing to do with this forum but I thought I would just update you.
The Fazer wasn't available so will be trying that next week.
The CB1300S I found dull and a bit uncomfortable, too wide for me gave my left leg jip. Fairing was useless, loads of buffeting above 70. Great gearbox and brakes though, looks good.
CBF - TwinNut, I'm sorry for what I'm about to say! What a great bike. It was great fun to ride, poised, nimble, bloody rapid in an incredibly smooth manner. I went from 60 to 130 in no time and was laughing my head off. Cornering was good too, very confidence inspiring. Very comfortable to ride and at 90 I wasn't getting buffeted too much.
Yes it doesn't look great, it looks a bit weedy for a thou but so what, I can't see that when I'm riding it. Gearbox is a little snatchy though but I can live with that.
It really did feel like it would fit what I need it for perfectly.
When I come and buy you alll a beer at one of your meets (do you ever go to the Ace Cafe?) for your help you should have a go on it TwinNut, you may even enjoy it ever so slightly.
Anyway, still the Fazer to try so not a done deal yet.
Oh, and the Falco of course D Rider !
Cheers
