I know there have been recent threads but I have just had to fill up and got good news for the first time.
After a 122 mile ride through the likes of Blanchland and Middleton-In-Teesdale I had to use the bike for work and stuck on another 32 miles before the light came on.

After hearing about others MPG I was pleased with this.

The ride included a 90mph blast back from Darlington to Newcastle

i had 148 miles before the light came on.and i wasnt hanging about (145 mph on private road ofcourse) and lots of twisty turnies in between.

very happy with that

Going quick isn't what kills the mpg on a Falco - it's short, slow commuting style journeys that give it a bashing. Your longish journeys are perfect for getting decent economy figures.

Best I ever did on any bike was 5 tankfulls used between Santa Maria Delle Mole (Italy) and Chertsey, there was still about 2 gals in the tank when I got home 1/3rd full). mileage was 1193 that was a BM GS1200. I almost got that from my Blackbird when I went from Le Mans to Calais, took 3hrs 50 mins for 271 miles and had to fill up at Boulogne after 246 miles, bike was fully loaded 2 lol.

Worst I got was on my CB500 110 miles on a trackday.

I never do the "sitting on the bike when filling up" but I got 148 miles before the light came on last week heading back from Penrith. Filled up in Penrith, light came on at the end of our road.

idont think falco,s are bad on fuel much better than a firestorm i had i got less than 80 miles to a full tank (mind that was a trackday at croft)

Took advantage of a day off and good weather for a rapid jaunt into the borders via Kielder.

143 miles and light not yet on.

Rather than re-fill when convenient, ran it until light came on today at....165 ...not too shabby.

At 151 miles Bess took 13.66 litres to fill. That's near as dammit 50mpg.

...got 250km between fill-up and orange light, autobahning. Agree with Andy - my comuty-tootling has me on the orange light at just over 100 miles. Much better mpg giving the thing its longer stride - cruising (don't slap me) if you will.
