Being as I had the camera out ....
In my quest for insurance for the coming year, one of the companies I spoke to wanted some pics. Unfortunately I didn't have time to clean the bike but thought I might as well post them here to reveal it in it's current incarnation:

Common, he did say he had not had time to clean it, so you have to accept a little bit of rust colour.Aladinsaneuk wrote:looks all right
you still have some rust brown bits showing - perhaps some nice shiny black hammerite would help?
AND .....................
Finally somebody else who still "likes" the orange frying pans like the ones that still adorn mine.
P.S. It's looking good Andy

Still getting used to them TBH - feels a bit weird to begin with as there is so little resistance to turning and it turns so quick.
Get more used to it by the day and I'm sure it will feel completely normal soon.
Some of the different feeling will come from a brand new set of tyres too - with a nice profile rather than the worn things that were (are still) on my OZs (I'll soon be replacing them with a set of Angels while Pirelli have their offer on them - just the job for touring and the winter).
I'll get you some closer pics in due course

Nah - these are the first pics that "feature" them - I seldom get round to posting up pics and made no real announcement. Bought them ages ago but then had to wait several months till I bought some tyres at the NEC show and then waited a few more months to fit them as I didn't want to square off the new tyres riding through winter.Olig7475 wrote:OMG......I never noticed them, wow I must have missed the 'Aren't I the jammyist bugger in the world' post when you fitted them......Andy they are soooooooooo sweeeeeeeet
can we have some close up's of the ultimate bling bling then?
