Paypal will be ok, I'll sort it out with each of you next week via PM (addresses and stuff), I just want to know how many sets I need to make at the minute.

I think I will follow your examples, I will supply seat ones with S/S washers and tank ones with nylon washers. So please specify which type of set you want when posting or PM'ing

Out of curiosity, why nylon washers for the tank?

Cheers

Alad - two sets - tank and seat

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

I've had mine for ages and I bought 2 sets intending to do tank and seat.

I only ever fitted the ones for the seat as I decided the tank ones would be too much of a fiddle to get at, preferred having the tank bolted and the tank doesn't have to come up that often anyway.

Not saying you shouldn't - just my 2-pennerth.

I've started making these, got about 10 sets of pins made so far, I'm not waiting for the washers and nuts to turn up.

I'll PM you all in order to ask for delivery address and payment when I have them ready to go.

FYI drilling all these 2mm holes in stainless is a bastard (especially as my pillar drill has more play than a 5 year old on red bull).

I shall keep ploughing through them as fast as possible so hopefully I'll be able to send most of them out this week or early next week.

I would take you up on that offer mate if the drill I'm using didn't have loads of play, but the drills wouldn't line up with it and they'd break. I just got a load more drilled this last hour so getting there now. I should be able to ship all of them this week.

Ok all, there is a slight issue with these pins, nothing major.

The original AF1 style pins I've based mine on are all the same length, this is for the simple reason that they are universal and therefore will fit either the tank or the seat.

The nearside seat pin clashes with the coil as it's too long. This leaves us with one of 3 choices,

1) I supply them all the same length and you chop them to suit your needs.
2) I supply them all the same length and you move the coil out of the way (should be a ble to bend the bracket slightly)
3) You specify if you want one pin slightly shorter for the seat set and I will shorten it.

The choice is entirely yours and will be on an individual basis.

FYI installation instructions are here, not sure how they expect you to put the nut and washers on from the bottom, I removed the rear fairing for ease. http://www.af1racing.com/store/usermods ... ipinfo.htm

Send me a PM with your address, and send payment to wayne.french15@yahoo.co.uk (£8 per set). In the PM put which of these three options you would like and also state how many sets you want and what their purpose is. When you send the paypal payment please put in their what your id is on here, or alternatively put in your PM what the e-mail address you sent the paypal from is. I need to keep to two tied together somehow or I'll get in a right mix up.

i.e. 1 set for seat with a shorter left hand pin or 2 sets, one of each with all pins the same length

As previously mentioned I will supply seat sets with a stainless washer and tank ones with nylon washers.
