Pete has just texted to say his bike is currently being MOT'd
As I see it, whatever happens we need to run up a tab for him in the bar:
- - to celebrate if it passes
- to commiserate if the MOT tester happens not to be a blind, deaf half-whit and gives it its just deserts in a failure certificate

Well... I spent a few days putting assorted legal things back on the bike .... Baffles in etc
So got given a ticket and took off home...
Three miles later there was a neenaa neenaa sound and I was pulled over.
Pausing only to pop another doughnut into his snout porcus mobilius wandered over and started the chat....
This your vehicle sir?
Yes, I replied
Are you aware there is no valid mot on it....
Really officer?
And those exhausts sound a little too loud.....
According to our records the mot expired three weeks ago
He was grinning
I could see his hand hovering by his little ticket book.
Where have you been sir - well I replied.... I have been to a garage....
And they gave me this officer
I smiled as I passed him my valid mot slip
Life can be good sometimes ;)
Drinks are on me
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Woo Hoo ..... so you've laid on a hog-roast
(let's hope it doesn't have the same effects as the one at Club Aprilia Day was thought to have started)
Does emphasise what a "police-state" this country has become - you can't fart without them knowing about it ... unless you farted in the last half-hour and their records haven't yet caught up.
George Orwell didn't know the half of it

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.
