I posted this on my local forum but thought I'd let you lot join in the fun .....

So, what I'm asking in the interests of some festive bad taste, is which are the ugliest bikes of all time. Let’s post up some candidates and maybe we can even vote for our dog of all time – once the nominations are in.

Now I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder so apologies if the munters I've picked are some of your coolest bikes ever but anyway, here are a few to get things going:

Ducati Multistrada

Suzuki Kan o' Tuna

Buell 1125R

Suzuki Busa

BMW K1

Aerial Leader

BMW C1

Plastic maggot

...... and the Turbo version ....

Harleys ... yes, all Harleys except maybe the XR750

I'd quibble about a couple of em.
No unfaired bike can be a total munter (unless it's a Hardley , but then they aint bikes) .... and an all black bike can't be all bad.

I disagree about the MZ. I'd say it's basic, but not a munter as such.

That first Ducati however shouldve been shot at birth. Ive tried to like the look of them, but nope. Aint happening

I'd disagree with the MZ and the Paso being in Andy's list (if the Paso was in, then so should the original "jellymould" CBR600), but most of them I can't find fault with. Especially the Ducati that's top of the list. How can a company that produced the 888 and the 916 produce that?

The colour scheme and styling of the new R1 leaves me cold, but then so do most modern bikes of that ilk. Again - Yamaha got it so right with the 2003/2004 R1s, but now appear to have lost the plot.

I used to own one - was more concerned by the 'dog's knob' tail light than the indicators. Not a bad bike though, does what it says on the tin and not exactly slow either.

I'll disagree about the Katana. I think they look good. All the rest of them are pretty damned ugly.

Just for the record, I do like the look of the MZ - however I still think it's ugly.

Syltiz - as for the new shape Blade, I really like it - especially in the colour posted and the new HRC colours that were shown at the NEC. I think it's the nicest since the original ......

..... but all personal opinion.
