Instrument Holder Bracket knackered
While I was carrying out some pre-season servicing and modifications including MPL slave fitting, VTR side stand etc. a quick check of the front end revealed a wobbly nose. I had a steering damper fitted some 5 years ago and clearly over this time it has taken its toll on the instrument holder bracket which had completely sheared off both sides of the headstock.
I’m having it repaired by a very competent person (Fastbiker) but was just wondering if anyone has had previous experience of this.

Having mine made up on a jig and properly fixed. Better than the original apparently. I was thinking about the bay of flea but what guarantees do ya get on getting a straight one.falcomunky wrote:Bit more expensive than the one that not long ended on Ebay; Went fer £60ish but was a little suspect, (seller also selling a knackered nose cone if I remember rightly).
Surely someone on ere with the right connections could have a brace of, erm, braces made-up?...
