What? You mean you're not used to them by now? They've been around long enough!

I thought the Gov was trying a 'herd immunisation' approach. Establishing the new norm etc.

There's a pothole up the road from us, I reported it 8 months ago along with a picture, it had buckled one cars front nearside wheel and a cyclist had had a nasty off, yet the last time I went past it (2 weeks ago) it was still there. :smt013 :smt021

There won't be any money left......
Our glorious leaders are pouring it into the mouth of the Covid monster for two reasons
This is the biggest social and economic disruption we are facing since WW2
Ten years of austerity measures means the NHS is trying to run with its pants round its ankles

But apart from that, this would be the perfect time for said repairs to be carried out with massively reduced traffic

Sure, but then they'd all be in it. :smt005

Round here they deal with potholes if you report them as dangerous - trouble is they just dob a bit of cold tarmac in them and a couple of weeks laer, there they are again!

But at least they've repainted the zebra crossing made famous by the cover of Abbey Road.

So that's all right then...

The local council obviously read my post; I've seen them out on the roads, patching them up (but mainly repainting yellow lines).

I did my longest journey for ages last week to get a new tyre fitted to the repaired RC8 front wheel and all of the pot holes on my ' to work ' route have been repaired including the bit where I trashed the front wheel!
Glad it's done, fucking fuming that Highways denied all responsibility but then tidied away the crime scene
