Well bugger me RS still lives
I got an email with a weekly update on it.
I didn't know RS was a thing anymore but it's good to see you still here.

All day long I think of things but nothing seems to satisfy.
Re: Well bugger me RS still lives
Welcome back! Yes, it's still going (almost all) of its heritage preserved. Are you still riding?
Re: Well bugger me RS still lives
Hi Ben
I took a few years out as I became unmarried.
Work got in the way too but now I'm on a 765 RS

The site looks familiar. And it's great to know it's still going.

Ok. I've got it now.
Ben ex-Visordown, plus old RS. A good mix.

Yep, that's me. When I saw OMA I thought of a username OnMyArse - not you is it?
I've not ridden a 765RS but by all accounts it's a great choice. Enjoying it?

Re: Well bugger me RS still lives
I'm the very same.
Last time I saw you was at Heds shop in Woburn Sands.
Fuck, that was a long time ago.
The RS is a blast. I'd not ridden for 8 years and was going to get an MT10. I took the RS out and couldn't stop grinning.
Its easy to ride and must be the best bargain since the SV650.
It's no slouch either and works so well on track day.

Re: Well bugger me RS still lives
Excuse my ignorance but what is a RS 765?
I hate it when people ask if you have a bathroom, I want to say "No we pee in the garden"
Re: Well bugger me RS still lives
Shhhhhtreeeet Triple, innit.
Re: Well bugger me RS still lives
AH fitted with a play rear brake innit.
Remember going on a triumph day, compliments of Triumph, nice bike the older version but the rear brake

Re: Well bugger me RS still lives
I've no idea what you mean about the rear brake but hello Gio, how are you doing?

Re: Well bugger me RS still lives
The rear brake doesn't work imo, its ok when stationery, but try using it on steep hills etc when moving.Don't get me wrong on the bike I liked the one, I was loaned, it was just the back brake.
I'm not it the best of health, got a blood cancer that transformed last May, so been in and out of hospital.

And the rear brake is fine.
