Meeting sometime next year?

#1 Post by Greg » Sat Nov 24, 2018 1:00 pm

As there aren't many of us left, I wondered whether we could try and herd a few of the remaining Falcos together - could be a laugh...

I was thinking somewhere central - Oxfordshire maybe, or perhaps go and irritate Griff a bit ...!

Whaddya think?

Aprilia performance open day sounds favourite.
There is potential of a camping weekend in may sometime. So anything is possible.

Yes we cant let a year go by without getting together. I'll put a shout out in April sometime and see if we can resurrect the Newark barge meet. But any opportunity to meet up will be good.

I'll even make my annual offer of a Dales (Castles and Abbeys.....and Ribblehead Viaduct) tour.

Ok - time to get this sorted...

If anyone's interested, would a weekday or a weekend be more or less acceptable?

Well, a weekday isn't really possible due to that little matter known as "I'll be at work"

There again, I seldom have any free time at weekends at the moment .......

I guess me like most would be best for weekend.
Best idea is to post a date and place then see what people can do.
Everyone is older and busy, plus there are fewer active peeps on here as I doubt it will make double figures whatever day it is.
Just sayin......

However being retired makes life a bit easier especially if its well in advance.
I hate it when people ask if you have a bathroom, I want to say "No we pee in the garden"

I've never made on of these yet (living in Australia was a decent excuse) but now I've got to look after mumsie and can't abandon her for more than an overnighter, so still won't make it! :smt013
