I would have thought you would have heard of contraception by now.

Or are you multiplying so you get bigger tax credits

Mmmm. More money from the government for bikes. I like the concept but I can't see the government let it catch on

More like more money to the government with £78 per annum road tax per falco .............
Bonkers that some cars cost less to tax -
I am thinking of going back in to the company car scheme and it looks as though the Mercedes e-class hybrid will only be £20 per year road tax (not that I'd have to pay it). The comparative ware and tare on the road of a hulking great car like that compared to a bike is sizeable - yet we pay nearly 4 times as much ........

Have you thought about a ybr 125 andy? £17 a year
I have just road taxed my Peugeot 206 1.1 petrol. The co emission is 156 which equates to £175.00 per year road tax. If it had been 150 or lower the road tax would have been £140.00 a year.
Next month I have to road tax my 1.8 petrol laguna at £210.00 a year.
I also have to tax the falco to come to marches meet. I will only be putting 6 months on the bike though. I have a few expensive months coming up.

Tolerance will be our undoing.

Yep did my mazda a month or two back and that was £210 - I wasn't saying that all cars are cheaper than bikes.
Unfortunately the old basis based on ware and tare of the roads (hence upkeep - the original purpose of the road fund licence) is long gone - replaced on the very dodgy belief that CO2 is the cause of climate change (and bikes are treated differently as they are not tested for CO2 in the same way as cars).

The emissions based tax does seem to be a farce.
My mate sold his A4 1.8 straight petrol, replaced with an A4 2.5 V6 twin turbo diesel because its cheaper to tax and insure

Top colour mate!

Top work all around!
Id still like a Futura, one day, maybe to replace my Ducati tourer but that seems a little daft...
Those twin spar wheel would look and match main frame spars on a Falco, I think.
Hmmmm.

Wow. 10 years I've had my original falco. 8 and a half years since I changed to to white.
The stator has just packed up so that will be getting changed along with a new rectifier in the next few months. I still enjoy riding the falco even though I'm now having problems with my knees lol. Here's to another 10 years.
