Couldn't believe this when I read it Andy - sounds like random acts of senseless violence and Joe and his pal were in the wrong place at the wrong time. The only advice I can offer is to lock the doors and windows when travelling through places like that. Might slow the arseholes down a bit and give them/you a chance to escape.

Any way - whatever is left on the shelf - it's all yours...

They were probably full of beer and don't care anyway. Mike and I often say, there's just no understanding the people who do this sort of thing, they don't seem to be of the same species as the rest of us.

Glad to hear Joe has been fixed, really hope you can convince him that the plod also have their plus points even if they seem invisible at times.
We have to do everything we can to make sure violence of this sort is punishable.
Maybe there is CCTV footage ?

I'm sure you know the old blues song that goes something like "If it wern't for real bad luck you'd have no luck at all..."

I think it applies and I'm in the chair for a round or two...

Thanks again one and all.

Joe has decided he'll go to see plod tomorrow - I think all his friends have been relaying the same advice and I had another go this morning too.

Crikey Andy - you do seem to get more than your share of bad luck and mishaps. Glad to hear he's on the mend. If you are still in the bar (and I wouldn't blame you if you are....) have a couple on me.

Shit, I hope you are all on the road to sanity (good health). its amazing what the yobs get up to these days. If he remembers their faces I'd say when he's back on the road if he see's them rub them out.
