Bah humbuggah!
Trike off the road, computer dodgy, headlight went on car so I went round to the industrial estate to get that sorted and on the way back a stone flew up and broke the rear window - Autoglass can't fix that till Christmas eve - and now the cat's not well!
The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.

Cat got better all on her own! I guess we panicked when she went off her food cos it's NEVER happened before and she did have a big op last month.
And the Autoglass man came about 4 oclock so the car's sorted as well - Happy Christmas!
Not sure if we'll be able to get to my daughter's tomorrow cos an oil tanker has gone half into a field and blocked the road and all the Fire and Rescue vehicles are in their car park!
It's an exciting life out in the sticks!

My thoughts exactly!
Apparently it got a bit hairy at one point and there was a possibility of daughter and family - and all the neighbours - being evacuated! I didn't know before but ap[parently crude oil gives off methane gas, and the level was getting high, but it was sorted before it went critical!
My son in law had his best Christmas Eve ever - he belongs to KERV (Kimmeridge Emergency Response Volunteers) and is trained as a firefighter, so was delighted when the County blokes asked them to get a team together, he was out there for hours being important and playing with hoses etc!
(I joke really, it's aserious organisation but he does love it!)
