I Know Why People Haven't Been Posting

#1 Post by D-Rider » Mon Dec 24, 2012 1:06 pm

I know why people haven't been posting ................ they must have all been out on their falcos - after all, it's been perfect Falco-riding weather.

Got out yesteday after 6 weeks as I could not see any oil in the pipe and the books states you need to run the bike for about five miles and then check it.
Anyway she started 1st time and went like a dream, one thing the wind doesn't go through a Falco as much as trying to shove you off the road when it hits.

Well I now know she's fine resting for another 6 weeks or so.

Keep safe everyone.

I've managed to miss most of the rain while I've been out.

I do have to confess I've not been riding as often as most years - combination of getting things delivered to work that I need the car to take home and being too knackered / jet lagged to ride .... but it does still get ridden - and always puts a smile on the face..

Been out today for a couple of hours with my youngest. Missed all the rain and got my biking buddy back for a few days. Gonna have to spend another two hours cleaning the bikes now !!!

Well compared to what I normally ride in it has been positively pleasant but unfortunately circumstances continue to dictate that I stay in a box at least it wasn't a pine one :)
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

I have been working 70 hour weeks for the last few months. :( (except for christmas)

As well as not posting, I haven't been on the falco for a while either :(

I did think about moving one of the falcos in to number two garage but I thought I would just not bother.....

I can feel the love :)

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Most people would refer to that as an outdoor privy ..............

There's a happy ending though. I threw the CB down the road on black ice in december. Well, to be acurate, I spun the rear up in 3rd to see how slippy it was, when it spun immediately I throttle off to let the tyre find grip again, that never happend, at this point I thought oh shit, the back end then began a slow movement to the left and we hit the ground gently like on come dancing. Embarressing, but no one watching. A week later I fell off my bicycle when the chain snapped in front of a line of traffic - that was more embarressing and more painfull. Still life in the old dog then :smt005
